Arizona Real Estate
The state of Arizona is located in the South western region of the United States of America. The state is noted for its arid desert landscape with exceptionally hot summers and mild cool winters. It is one of the four Border States and shares its territories with New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, California, Colorado, and has an international border with Mexico. This state spans across an area of about 118,000 square miles of which 15% is privately owned.

According to the 2006 census the state of Arizona had an estimated population of more than six million inhabitants; the immigration from outside the United States has led to an increase in the population this state. The median age of this state’s citizens is about 34 years; the median family is around $37,000.
The state has a very stable economy and the 2004 gross state product was $187 billion, and it has a bigger economy than the countries like Ireland Finland, New Zealand etc. The state government of Arizona is the largest employer, while Wal-Mart is the state’s second largest employers. Some other industries that flourish in this state include the Software, electronic components manufacturing, aerospace, architectural, telecommunication and many others.
Arizona also has a good transport system that consists of a number of important interstates and high ways that intersect it. Public transportation system primarily comprises of intercity buses, a light rail system is also available in most cities. The state is served by a number of national and international airports.
The state has a great education system and the public schools are divided into about 220 local school districts which operate independently or are overseen by the Arizona State Board Of Education. Higher education is governed at the University level by the Arizona Board of Regents.
The state has a good real estate scenario; the average price of the houses is roughly about $170,000, that makes it among the most affordable states to live in, the state has a variety of housing options on offer that includes vacant plots, single family houses, multiple family houses, condominiums and vacant plots. Although most of the houses are owner occupied but there is some hope in the fact that there are still some vacant houses available for sale.
